Airsoft offers an incredible training tool for Military and Law Enforcement personnel. Many Military units and Law Enforcement Departments already utilize the incredible realism, safety, and economy of airsoft in their training exercises.
Some of the advantages over blanks, paintball, or simunitions include:
1. Weapons are MUCH more inexpensive than simunition.
2. Weapons are MUCH more realistic than Paintball. Airsoft weapons function like their "real-steel" counterparts and airsoft pistols will fit into standard duty holsters.
3. BBs offer direct shoot out feedback without the hazards of simunition or mess of paintball.
4. Much quieter than blanks. This permits the elimination of hearing protection, allowing easier communications. It also permits training exercises to take place in locations that high levels of noise would prohibit the use of.
5. Airsoft ammunition is extremely economical (as low as $20/5000 rounds).
6. No special structures needed. This allows training to take place in any real-world location. The only mess is some bbs that can be vacuumed up.
